Monterey’s gets high marks for food But it’s very noisy. Difficult to have a conversation. Staff tosses dishes and silverware into a bin right near guest tables.
i’ve ordered from this place a lot and it has been decent, the food is good when they get the order right. but everytime i order over the phone and go to pick it up it is never what i ordered.

Awesome price with great tasting food! For 10 bucks, they have awesome lunch specials to choose from. I got the chicken and steak fajita . My hat is off to yall. I didn't expect to get such good Mexican food all the way in Iowa, but here we are. Definitely gonna eat here again!
The food is good, the chips were crumbs so we had to ask for more. I ran out of water, it was close to closing time so ya know let's stack chairs instead. The second time here, it was noon, busy with people waiting at the door for seats to be available. I guess you have to get your name on a list, we didn't see a list and nobody put us down. After 2 groups were called ahead of us we figured it out. I had to ask for silverware and napkins. Just irritating
They seat you quickly and immediately bring you chips and salsa which are very good. My favorite dish is the lunch chicken for $10.25. Grilled chicken breast on bed of rice, topped with cheese, mushrooms and onions. Very large portion and absolutely delicious. You won’t be disappointed if you order this.
